Bedee, Johnson were wed
Hear ye! Hear ye! Lady Falon Bedee and Sir Barry Johnson, both of Swanton, were united in Holy Wedlock on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Pastor Derek Moran, as Friar Tuck, officiated the double-ring ceremony. The ceremonies were held in the backyard of Sir Bill and Lady Peggy Johnson of Swanton, the parents of the groom. The exquisite bride was escorted by her father, Sir Brian Bedee of Toledo, with his Lady Sandra Bedee nearby.
The Matrimonial Ceremony was upheld within Revival Traditions, with everyone in proper Renaissance garb. With sunshine and love surrounding them, the couple pledged their vows from their hearts through their lips. As Celtic music played in the background, the union was declared permanent.
Sir Jeremy Johnson, brother of the groom, served as Best Man. The Ceremonial Knights were Sir Reese Heineke; Sir Ben Renda and Sir Aaron Hensley.
Lady Velissa Burkholder, best friend of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Ladies of the Court were Lady Angelique Bedee; Lady Chelsea Rieger and Lady Christina Bedee, all sisters of the bride.
Delivering the ceremonial rings was Sir Jacob Terry as a Palace Guardsman. The Flower Damsel was Mistress Kylie Gerken.
A festival with feasting, dancing and shared lively spirits followed, with all participants thoroughly enjoying the merriment. The hall was adorned with lovely decorations, contributed by the bride's parents. The Honorable Gary and Nancy Gilley, grandparents of the bride, provided and prepared the tremendous feast, with Lady Nancy creating all the lovely flower bouquets used by the wedding party and arrangements for the reception.
The couple would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for all who helped make their day special and wonderful, both to those who were in attendance and to those who were there in spirit.
The bride's mother, Lady Jana Pawlinski of Swanton, provided the place of Matrimonial Bliss for the newlywed couple. Sir Barry and Lady Falon Johnson now reside in the city of Holland.
