Fayette man sentenced

A Fayette man was sentenced on Jan. 11, 2010 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court, according to Scott A. Haselman, Fulton County Prosecutor.

Chad Lichtenwald, 37, previously pleaded guilty to child endangering. On May 9, 2009, he restrained a child under 18 years of age for a prolonged period which was excessive under the circumstances.

Judge James E. Barber sentenced Lichtenwald to community control for three years and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, pay a monthly supervision fee, not to consume or possess alcohol, stay out of bars and taverns, have no contact with the victim and successfully complete treatment in the SEARCH program. Lichtenwald was taken into custody to be held at CCNO.
