Ground beef can make quite a delicious casserole, sandwiches

Get out the hamburger and make a delicious casserole.

Beef and Cheese Casserole

In a pan, cook

1 (8 oz.) package noodles

Drain and set aside.

In a skillet, brown

1 1/2 LB. hamburger

1 large onion, diced

1 t. salt

1/2 t. pepper

Drain off grease.

Add to hamburger mix two small cans tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes.

In a bowl, mix

1 (8 oz.) package soft cream cheese

1 c. cottage cheese

1/4 c. sour cream

1/3 c. chopped green pepper

In a greased baking dish, place half the noodles, the cheese mixture, more noodles and top with the meat mixture.

Bake uncovered at 350û for 30 to 40 minutes.

Hamburger Chow Mein

In a Dutch oven, brown

1 1/2 LB. hamburger

1 large onion, diced

Drain grease.

Stir in

1 (14 oz.) can bean sprouts with juice

1 (14 oz.) can chop suey vegetables with juice

2 cans undiluted cream of chicken soup

4 T. soy sauce

1/2 c. uncooked instant rice.

Cover and bake at 300û for 1 1/2 hours.

Place 1 c. chop suey noodles on top for last 15 minutes of baking.

Beef Nacho Casserole

In a skillet, brown 1 to 1 1/2 LB. hamburger and drain.

Add,

1 (12 oz.) jar chunky salsa

1 c. frozen corn

3/4 c. mayonnaise

1 T. chili powder

In a Dutch oven, layer

1/2 meat mixture

1 c. crushed tortilla chips

1 c. shredded Co-Jack cheese

Repeat layers.

Bake, uncovered, at 350û for 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Hamburger - Potato Casserole

In a skillet, brown

1 1/2 LB. hamburger

1 medium onion, diced

1 T. minced garlic

Stir in

1 (15 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

1/2 c. milk

In a Dutch oven, layer

4 to 5 medium raw potatoes, sliced

meat mixture

Top with 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese.

Cover and bake at 350û for 1 hour or until potatoes are done.

Pizza Sausage Sandwiches

In a large skillet, brown 1 LB. hamburger and 1 LB. bulk pork sausage.

Drain off grease.

Add two cans pizza sauce and simmer.

Fill sub buns with meat and top with a slice of Mozzarella cheese.

Place on cookie sheet and bake at 325û for 10 to 15 minutes.

Optional toppings prior to baking are diced onions, green peppers and olives.
