Sweet treats can tempt resolutions

Let's do some quick and easy desserts. These are resolution breakers, so beware!
Take Along Cake
In a large bowl, mix
1 (15.25 oz.) can fruit cocktail with juice
11/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 t. baking soda
2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
Pour into a sprayed 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350û for 50 to 60 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, mix
1 c. sugar
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. margarine
1 (14.5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
When cake is done, immediately poke holes with a fork all over the cake.
Pour hot frosting onto the hot cake and let cool before cutting.
Hot Water Cake
In a bowl, beat
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. cocoa
11/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
2 t. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 t. vanilla
Beat this mixture for 2 minutes. Continue to mix and slowly add 1 c. boiling water. Beat until smooth.
Pour into 2 greased 8" cake pans.
Bake at 325û for 30 minutes.
Let cakes cool and frost. (Suggested frosting below)
1-2-3-4 Cake
In a bowl, cream
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 t. vanilla
Add,
4 eggs
3 t. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
Pour into two sprayed 8" cake pans. Bake at 350û for 25 to 30 minutes. (Suggested frosting below)
Frosting
In a bowl, beat 2 sticks unsalted, soft butter for 2 minutes
Add,
1 (7.5 oz.) jar Marshmallow Fluff
Now beat in 2 c. confectionery sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla slowly and beat until fluffy.
Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake
In a saucepan, melt together on medium to low heat
1 (7 oz.) bag unwrapped caramels
1/4 c. evaporated milk
Stir for about 5 minutes.
Stir in,
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Pour into a 9" chocolate crumb pie crust - check local store.
In a bowl, mix
1 (8 oz.) bar soft cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 (3.9 oz.) box instant chocolate instant pudding
Slowly add 11/4 c. milk.
Pour over the caramel layer and chill for 15 minutes.
Drizzle 1 c. hot fudge ice cream topping over the top.
Chill for 1 hour.
