One individual sentenced for Fulton County crime

A Lakeview, Ohio man was sentenced on Jan. 11, 2010 in Fulton County Common Pleas court, according to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.

Stanley R. Bowers, 44, was previously found guilty of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. On or about January 19, 2009, Bowers operated a motor vehicle with a prohibited concentration of marihuana metabolite in his blood.

Judge James E. Barber sentenced Bowers to one year community control and five days in CCNO. He ordered Bowers to pay prosecution costs, pay a monthly supervision fee of $25, pay a $250 fine, not to consume or possess alcohol, stay out of bars and taverns and successfully complete a drug / alcohol treatment program. The judge also suspended his driver's license for six months and his commercial driver's license for one year. Six points will be assessed on his license.

Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Bowers serving 180 days in CCNO.
